One of the hardest things in following FI journey for me was the ability to manage my FIRE goals AND live a fulfilling and fun life. That still has strong connections with friends, Family and loved ones. I’m not sure about you but at times. I felt like there was no one else like me, like others thought I was crazy (which I now know I may very well be!) Regardless we all know that FI can be a lonely journey. When the reality is there is probably someone 3 or 4 blocks down the road feeling the same!! Someone pumped to talk finance all night or does not sigh and roll their eyes when you pull out another spreadsheet. This community is growing, and we don’t have to follow this path alone anymore.

Tribe FI is about making friends and meeting new people on our same journey, it’s our goal to grow this incredible community throughout Australia. Helping each other to build their path, in ways you may just not think of on your own. Where you are, often matters little. What truly matters is the people you are surrounded with that make life worth living. So with that in mind let's make this journey great and get great results along the way!

The other part I feel like no one talks about is what happens after FI? What do you do when all your friends are at work, the kids have left the nest or business and income no longer provides you with purpose or value? After all most of us can only sit on a beach drinking cocktails for so long.  Sure, we have our online community that discusses the basic like ETF, WWYD and other related FI Topics, but let us not kid ourselves by thinking this is true human connection or lasting friendship.
